Mendies Awards and Season Kickoff Party
Named after long-time patrons and members of the founding Board of Trustees, Darwin and Muriel Mendoza, The Mendies are a vehicle through which Jubilee and our season ticket holders are able to recognize the accomplishments and talents of our dedicated actors. Season ticket holders are invited to cast their vote at the end of each season for their favorite actors, designs, and shows of the season. We will also honor volunteers and retiring trustees. The awards are announced at our annual Season Kickoff Party. Jubilee has always been known for throwing a great party, and our Season Kickoff is no exception. Awards, music, staged readings from the season ahead, and of course food and drink round out the evening as we celebrate the past year, as well as preview next season. This year’s Season Kickoff Party was held on September 13, 2009.
