Jubilee Theatre is proud to announce the appointment of six new members to the Board of Trustees. They are Dionne Bagsby, Susi Bickley, Barbara Cager, Justin Holt, William Earl Johnson, Jr., and Anthony Reed. These new Trustees come from all sectors of the DFW community. They will serve a 3 year term and bring the total number of Trustees serving on the Jubilee Board to 29.

Jubilee Theatre was incorporated in 1982 and received 501(c)(3) status in May 1983. After one season at 1801 East Vickery, the Board of Directors under the leadership of Darwin and Muriel Mendoza decided to become what the local press affectionately called a “gypsy theatre"… performing in local theaters or nightclubs, filling in on off days, and occasionally getting a chance at weekend runs.
Unfortunately, ticket sales alone do not keep Jubilee Theatre mounting great productions year after year. Approximately 66% of this season’s budget will be met through gifts from generous individuals just like you. Every contributed dollar makes a huge difference to Jubilee. With your help and support, Jubilee can continue its legacy of presenting the African- American experience.
